How Our Clubs Encourage Creativity and Innovation!

If there’s one thing we love about our sessions, it’s how multi-talented Zonebot is! However if we were asked for the second thing we love, it’s how creative and innovative our members are!

So much so, we thought we’d take some time to give you the run down on some of the ways we format our clubs to inspire even more of those two precious substances.

Making the game your own

Starting from the very basics, every game and project we work on has a plethora of assets that allow our members to put their own creative spin on their games super easily! Even though our weekly games are the same for all our members they always look so different!

Fixing bugs

As our members progress through the levels we start introducing bugs to their games, small things for them to fix to get the game working properly. We keep our help a little more vague to keep these members focussed on using innovative and creative thinking, skills that branch out beyond the coding and to general problem solving skills! 

Flexible thinking

Coding also lends itself to creativity and innovation in general. There’s often many different approaches to solving problems or getting things working, so taking the initiative and being a bit more flexible with your thinking is a necessity!
