January 24th marks “International Education Day!” UNESCO have set their theme as “The power of youth in co-creating education” which is something we feel passionate about here at The Code Zone. Let’s chat about it!
Child Led Learning
Here at The Code Zone, we pride ourselves on letting our members take the sessions at their pace, choosing what particular aspects they want to learn about!
We believe that letting them choose their path allows them to stay focused for longer (and have loads more fun!!!)
Championing Accessibility
We also believe that allowing children to choose their own path makes coding more accessible! We pride ourselves on working to make coding accessible to all kinds of people, and this doesn’t go unnoticed!
In 2025 we received the Autism Inclusion Award from the National Autistic Society, showing our dedication to making code as accessible as possible!
