Here at The Code Zone we offer one free session to give you a nice look at what you can expect from our online sessions! We thought we’d peel back the curtain and give you a glimpse into what you can expect from a taster session if you ever decide to do one.
The first thing to happen after you book yourself into a taster session is you’ll get some messages from your mentor welcoming you to The Code Zone alongside a video from that mentor explaining what will happen in your session.
Once the time of your session arrives (about 15 minutes before normal session times) all you have to do is log in and the video chat with your mentor will pop up, and you’ll be able to spend a bit of time getting to know both your mentor, and the way the technology for the video chats and sessions will work!
This is also a great time to ask any questions you may have, no matter how big or small, so we can give you the best experience possible.
After this 15 minute introduction, the main club will start, this is where you get to meet the other members of the club, get a proper introduction to the game of the week, and start following either the guided content, or your own personal ideas!
Throughout the hour long session, you can ask questions, chat to the mentor and other members, and just overall have fun relaxing and playing a game that you’ve made changes too!
After the session, you will also receive a short video message from the mentor showing off your game and letting you know how you got on. You will also continue to have access to the game you have worked on and the text chat so you can continue to talk to the mentors and ask questions in between sessions.
