So easy to join, you guys were so supportive and brilliant and a price I can afford. My grandson was desperate to learn how to code so I am so pleased we found code zone as he feels comfortable, listened to and has found the sessions useful to improve his coding skills. The delivery has been exceptional they are very understanding, very clear and so helpful if you have a problem.

My son attended Code Zone live lessons for several years. He is autistic, selective mute and struggled with school but wanted to learn game design so we signed him up. When he was struggling to attend school having the live lessons once a week gave us some much needed structure, but there was never any pressure to interact outside his comfort zone. His mentor was fantastic, absolutely understand George's needs and communicating via messages rather than expecting him to speak. There was a long period of time our son didn't speak to anyone outside our family except his mentor Nik, and that gave us hope. Although he now feels he has grown out of the clubs, it has given him a solid foundation in Python coding and helped him decide what elements of design he wants to pursue. Code Zone also has fantastic customer service, letting us know any time he missed a session and offering alternatives when necessary. Really thoughtful and proactive. Highly recommend!

The classes are well thought through and the instructors are great, they know how to talk to children and engage them. They actively check whether any of them needs any assistance and they are very quick to help them. My son has learnt a lot since he joined and he has had a lot of fun. The classes don't just teach coding, but also logic and problem solving, all while playing. Customer service also is exceptional.

My 8 year old son, Jacob, recently did a taster session with The Code Zone and he absolutely loved it. Jacob has ASD and loves to talk a lot when he's excited; his mentor, Meg, was incredibly patient and brilliant at keeping him engaged. It’s so heartening to find a hobby where he feels understood and supported. He had such a great time that we’ve already signed up for the monthly course. Highly recommend to any parents, especially those looking for an inclusive and welcoming environment!

I am really happy with The Code Zone and the classes that my son attends. One thing that really stands out for me is the patience that the teachers have with the young people, my son is autistic so I always worry that teachers won’t understand him, or become frustrated by his needs, so I feel really happy that he is so engaged and happy in the class. The teachers are really supportive and patient and this is the type of energy I want around my child when he is learning. After one week he is now setting him self up for class and I don’t see him until it’s over. I really value safe secure environments where children can be themselves without fear and judgement, and he is definitely happy at the Code Zone.

My daughter had the BEST time in game dev with Code Zone, she engaged so well from the start and was guided brilliantly throughout. The session was really interactive and she loved being able to hack the game “Penguin Paddle”changing the sprite, switching up the colours and even making it more challenging! She was completely absorbed and didn’t want it to end, which says it all really. A huge shoutout to Jaz, her mentor, who was amazing at answering questions, keeping everyone engaged and making sure each child understood what to do. Such a supportive and encouraging environment 🙌 Would absolutely recommend for kids interested in coding or just trying something new!

Our nearly 10yo AuDHD child has always enjoyed coding, computer games and tech, but since being Home Educated has missed out. Having found The Code Zone, and especially Lauren his mentor, he has been super happy to be back to coding and making games again. Lauren is very patient, and we have found that he spends more time on Scratch and coding then playing his VR now which is a bonus! Looking forward to seeing him flourish over time!

We LOVE the Code Zone! everything about it works for our son, 8 who is diagnosed autistic and ADHD and doesn't usually engage in clubs/activities outside of school hours- especially not alone. But he loves his Tuesday session with Luna! They are so supportive and kind and knowledgeable and he's learning incidental coding without really realising because it is all so gamified.Honestly can't recommend enough.

The code zone are absolutely brilliant with my autistic son. They are extremely supportive, informative and inclusive going out their way to make sure my son’s needs are understood and met. My son finds it hard to settle into group activities but he has had no problems with his coding sessions and gets very excited for them. The groups aren’t too big so each child gets the help and support they need and it is a low stress environment where each child can go at their own pace.

We used The Code Zone to set up a group Minecraft event for 8-11 year olds. The kids had an absolute blast using their mod worlds and grownups felt secure that it was fun and safe event! Win-Win!

My 9 yo son has found Code Zone to be excellent, he's very much inspired. He looks forward to his tuition session and obviously gets a lot out of it. It's great listening in to the chit-chat honestly! His teacher has great rapport with the class, even when it occasionally gets a little hectic. Im very impressed Code Zone, well done.

My son has really enjoyed his experience with the coding club. His mentor, Jordie, has been fabulous and is so kind and patient with the children. The class sizes are small so plenty of time for children to ask questions during the live sessions. They also have flexibility in the sessions to work on the task allocated or do something else they’ve been working on. Children have 24/7 access to the online portal to access games and work outside of class time.

My son recently started his live group sessions and he absolutely loves them! I have always had trouble getting him to commit to groups and clubs but not with this one. He loves his lessons with Veronica and gets excited on a Thursday night even more so now knowing that not only is it nearly the weekend but he has his coding lesson. He actually said ‘YESSSS’ on Thursday night as he was going to bed. I asked him what he was so happy about and he said for his coding lesson tomorrow. He is so proud of himself and his games he has done so far and loves showing me and his family what he has done. He even plays and codes the games during the week as well. I would recommend this club to anyone! Absolutely fantastic and I’m so glad I signed my son up!

My daughter really enjoys using the website and enjoys her lessons with Ant. He has good understanding of how to interact with kids and to encourage them, even if my childs a bit on the quiet side and not sure what changes to make. Theres no tone that would put her off trying, which i appreciate. It might be useful to teach about the purpose of the codes being used on the live lessons as well as the basics on the website. I know time gets away as well. Always something new each week.good fun!

Our son really enjoyed his taster session - his mentor was great at encouraging all the kids to share and contribute and gave lots of praise. It was a really positive experience. The sessions are well set up and structured and there's always help on hand if needed.

The code zone is amazing! My son has learnt so much and has progressed onto the Game Dev Mod level and doing so has also learnt how to work with others online. At all time the mentors have been kind, encouraging and all round fabulous. I can't recommend it enough.

The Code Zone is brilliant! Callum is so patient and kind, and makes the sessions really engaging and fun. Mary is also lovely! The website is great, with lots of things to do outside of the actual lessons, and loads of support available if needed. I highly recommend The Code Zone to anyone, so many skills to learn and fun to be had!

Code Zone has been fantastic for my autistic son. He already had a love of gaming etc, but since joining Code Zone his passion is so evident and he is asking everyday when the next club is. I can't thank all the mentors for their kindness and patience. Everything is tailored and child led. My son is always over the moon evertime he comes home, talking about all the new things he learnt.

The code zone is quite fun espescially the minecraft mod club! My only complaint is that the mod club doesn't have much content sure it has a lot but when you finish them there isn't much else please add a bit more content to the mod club thank you! I recommend though. The online classes are great as well to help you learn to code

My primary aged neurodivergent child has been going to code zone sessions weekly for about a year maybe more now, and he absolutely loves it. The sessions are structured but there is a lot of freedom for the him to explore all facets of scratch and he found that he likes being able to express himself creatively. The session leaders are patient and highly skilled in teaching children and their knowledge. The customer service is phenomenal, they communicate clearly and frequently and they are always quick to get back to you and accommodate any changes you may need. For example we missed our usual session, and there was no monetary penalties we were just given another session to join in the week. I think the cost is worth it. My son loves code zone and looks forward to it weekly.

Our 9 year old was really into coding with scratch but was all self taught by watching YouTube. I came across code zone via an add and booked him in on a free taster session. The lessons are brilliantly structured and he loves his weekly online sessions. He is advancing with his skills so much and loves how he can share his ideas and work with his group and mentor. He can chat and ask for advice from his mentor at any time using his account dashboard, and they are very prompt at looking into issues he may have with a project or with something new he is trying. His review is “best club ever”….

There was nothing I didn’t like. My daughter was over the moon and there was so much guidance available. The mentor was extremely helpful and kind.

Very good customer service and easy to manage subscriptions via the website. We found the mentors all really lovely and exceptionally patient with our many queries! They managed to create a nice safe space online where kids were happy to share ideas and questions about the activities at hand. They also spotted those who needed a bit of help to get on track with the activities providing timely help. Highly recommended.

My son loved his first session and has been excited all week for his next session. My son is autistic and struggles with clubs and social activities, code zone has provided the perfect activity for him. He can control his environment at home and participate in a way thats comfortable for him. Alex our mentor was super calm and patient and ensured my son could join in with the others on the session. The platform itself is great and very user friendly. Sending a personalised video after the session was a lovely touch. You can tell a lot of thought has gone in to making this both child and parent centred!

Our family love the code Zone. The whole team are so understanding of children's needs and so flexible. My child has autism nd ADHD and I've never come across any organisation that is so accommodating of children's needs. They do not pressurise them, demand or expect things the child isn't able to do at a time. My child can be himself when interacting with people at the code zone. I would 100% recommend them.

The Code Zone is fantastic. The different types of learning are brilliant for kids like mine, who has ADHD and autism and often struggle in a standard learning environment. The teachers are excellent and engaging, and really understand how to provide a good learning experience (especially for neurodiverse children), and are great at offering support and responding to queries outside of classes.

I have 2 children who attend The Code Zone online classes. Both of my children are neurodiverse. Firstly, their customer services is great. They are very patient and signing up was easy. There were no sales calls which was great because a lot of the other companies that sell coding classes seem to bombard you with calls. The teachers are amazing and very patient. My son (7 years) actually plays the games that they learn to code. Lauren especially has been AMAZING with my son. My daughter is 13 and I was nervous as to whether she would enjoy it or not. She LOVES the classes and has learned so much. I was really apprehensive about whether my children’s needs could be met but Code Zone has exceeded by expectations. The price is very reasonable, the teaching is good and I would highly recommend The Code Zone.

Also I love that the mentor is constantly keeping me updated on David progress as well as what they’ve done after each session. Lauren is working with each child equally and I love the habit at the end of sessions when each child presents one by one what they achieved, how they’ve change the game , ideas etc

I highly recommend The Code Zone. We started with a free trial as my son showed interest in coding. I don’t understand it so I couldn’t help him.

I was worried my son would quickly loose interest with this club however he looks forward to his weekly live video call with his mentor Calum. There is a new game every week with new challenges set so this keeps him engaged. The price is fair and I would definitely recommend having the live club sessions as it's much easier to learn from discussions. Also Calum has been great at identifying strengths and moving my son up to levels that give him more of a challenge from the very first session. Customer service team are friendly and helpful, and have always reached out to make sure I am happy afterwards.

My 8 year old daughter has absolutely loved her time with Codezone. In particular her mentor Lauren was a joy with the kids in her group. Kind, funny, patient! All the mentors we’ve had have been excellent at holding the space for every child in the session, allowing for chat, questioning with fun. My daughter also has ADHD ans can sometimes struggle with instructions or waiting her turn, and only received kindness and encouragement every week. In her words “it’s majorly fun and confidence boosting!

Our 7.5 year old son who doesn't like any clubs or activities leaps out of bed on Tuesdays and starts coding and then rushes home from school and does a countdown to his "Club". He LOVES it. He has gone from needing us to sit with him and not saying a word in session 1 to shouting singing and asking questions while playing and coding independently for an hour each week- its fantastic. The mentors are so calm, patient supportive and inclusive and generally "Cool". A fabulous model from start to finish - I'm sure itll be a positive part of our lives for a long time to come :)

I found The Code Zone on Google and I decided to get a free live session for my 6 years old girl. The tutor KC is absolutely professional, kind, patient and supportive, engaged with the children. She is really amazing! After that, I have enrolled my girl, so she can have an access to the platform anytime. The prices are very reasonable and I am very happy. Highly recommended! We are looking for a local coding class which is face to face, which The Code Zone don’t offer at the moment, but fingers crossed this is something they can accommodate in future!

My 10 year old son loves The Code Zone! He loves ‘the way you can be yourself around the instructors and you can ask for help at any time, and the instructors are always interested in what you’re doing’. I highly recommend it.

My son loves attending his weekly coding club. There is a variety of activities for him to immerse in and he often has projects on the go that he works on each week. The teachers are so welcoming and kind. Can't recommend coding club enough.

The Code Zone is an outstanding and well managed club. My daughter has been going for a couple of years now and absolutely loves it. They maintain their interest by constantly challenging them with new games and programmes and the staff are friendly and approachable. They also keep parents informed and remind them when new terms are starting along with holiday activities. Definitely deserve their 5 🌟 .

My 10 yr old daughter has recently changed groups as she is quite shy and timid and her previous group were quite outgoing. The team were brilliant, very supportive and worked to find her the right group. She is now in a quieter group where the other children work together to support each other and she said the group leader is great! A happy mummy! 🥰

My son did the free taster session today. I was unsure if he would enjoy it as he has done online coding sessions with a different company in the past which he didn’t enjoy as the environment was very stressy, rushed and loud. The taster session with The Code Zone was super chilled! The environment was calm and Ant was fantastic at taking his time to make sure each child was being heard and helped when needed. My son said he learned more in the 1 hour taster session than he did with 5 sessions with the other company. He gave a big thumbs up to wanting to join weekly so we’ve just signed up for the weekly online sessions. Highly recommend!

I'm writing this review from the point of view of my son having only had the trial lesson and so I can only comment on our short experience there. After expressing interest in the programme, Mary rang to arrange a suitable trial session for my son. Our sessions are 1 hour but with an initial 15 min pre session with the tutor. We had Tom for that session and he was excellent with my son, who really seemed to enjoy his time learning how to hack and he was engaged for the whole session and progressed well. We've signed up for the weekly sessions and it was great to have Mary on hand to ask about the membership and the classes - a quick text or phone call and it was all sorted out. I am confident that this is going to be just what my son needs to progress from using scratch to using python

Eddie has only had one session with The Code Zone, and already he is looking forward to the next. He was giving plenty of coding to do in the hour with Sophie.

The class was well structured, easy to have with other students and not disruptive. My child enjoyed it and was very focused in achieving the tasks of the project. The teacher Calum was very helpful, patient and clear in his instructions

My 9yr old absolutely LOVES these online sessions. He started with the Scratch-coding Hack club last summer and (just six months later) he has now moved up to coding with Python in their MOD club. I realised just why he is so keen when I peeked in on him with his mentor during an introductory session: flexibility, adapting to the child’s ability/needs/wants, choice. My son likes having a mentor who can help him to problem-solve and to realise his own ideas. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Excellent for young coders and programmers of the future!

Our daughter has been going to The code zone for 2 years and she absolutely loves it. They learn while they play. The instructors are great with kids.

The Code Zone is fantastic! My son attends weekly and also during the school holidays. He finds this a nice, calm environment in which he can learn and be creative. The staff at Code Zone is amazing. My son finds it hard to socialize and express himself but when he is at The Code Zone he comes out of his shell. He looks forward to going each week.
