Each week I am left speechless at the amazing ideas your young coders are bringing to the table. This week's game, "The Asteroid Field" was not a fan favourite, it seems! Many of us found it difficult to dodge the asteroids and safely drive our space ship to the wormhole, but we worked around some really creative ways of making the game more fun!
Oliver has absolutely exceeded any of our expectations when he added not only a pause button to his game, but also the option to select a difficulty level in his game! On top of that, he has also added a Sprite that pops up when ending the game, definitely earning a spot in our weekly e-mail corner of praise!
Noah has also impressed us with a custom audio attached to his game, that describes the mission the player is embarking on, making the game so fun and immersive!
Aside from that, he also added a health bar and lives system, as well as the option to shoot lasers at the asteroids!
Then there's Freddie, who took an entirely different approach and added a Speed Force option, which gives you the power to speed up and smash through Asteroids!
Those are just a few examples of countless of excellent projects we've seen this week.
As always, if you have any hack ideas you need a hand with or if you’re ever stuck don’t forget to message us in the help button and we will be more than happy to help out!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend!
